Sheffield Wednesday are no mugs

Hope people don't fool themselves into thinking that Wednesday aren't a good team.

Of course there's no easy games in this league, but also this isn't the Sheffield Wednesday of the last few years when they've been relegation battlers.

They have the 5th best away record in the league - only the top four have picked up more points away from home.

They have won four of their last six away games and have an outside chance of the top six, only six points away with a run-in which is relatively favourable.

So they are no mugs.



That said, we have to be looking for the win. Draws aren't enough for our remaining home games.

It's a tough game, but three points should be the target.

As Omer said, we need to treat it like a cup final. Draw isn't good enough at this stage.

I really hope I am proved wrong here but I don't think we will come away with anything from this game. Today the reality will hit home a lot more about our survival chances.

Wednesday have lost 2 important players of late so in a way that should improve our chances. We need to take that into the game. Lets see how we respond.

If Wednesday are the same side we played away they are there for the taking. It was a poor game and both sides looked bang average. If we improve quality into box we have every chance of 3 points.

They are no mugs I agree and that is a great away record. They will be targeting 3 points against relegation strugglers.
I'm not confident but hope for a rare home win.

They are a good team and will be a tough game.

No one is unbeatable in this league though (possibly Leeds when they are firing on all cylinders) and we are at home.

It’s more important than ever that the team selection is right, that the players don’t sh*t out of 50/50s and that we give it our all.
