Just wondering what his coaching role is atm. The guy who used to play for Palace I’m assuming is the defensive bod and all I seem to see DP doing when he’s on the bench is laughing with the guy who’s next to him. Just saying like.

DP having a great time while us fans are stressed in the stands . DP wasn’t good enough for the unders how has he ended up in the first team . The few remaining fans left are being taken the piss out of .

He was a good player for us and I really liked him at that point, but his time as a coach and with the U21s has changed my mind, let alone how he can sit there laughing

Distracting Riza, instructing players how not to mark, making on the spot verbal calls and confusing people, shouting at the groundsmen to do their jobs when they are doing their jobs!!!

He fkd up the hotdog orders at half time he started telling the catering staff how to cook them and they got burned .

It’s about the 3rd time he’s done it. Seen it on IPTV. Pretty sure we were losing those games too. Love to know his role tho

Purse was a top quality defender in his day.

As was Richard Shaw.

What the hell are they doing with this defence? 2 clean sheets in 16 league matches in 2025.

Sad that he is seen as part of our demise but I can guarantee you Darren is a top bloke and takes his job seriously, and when he played for us he gave his all every time.

Unfortunately top bloke and great player who gave us all doesn’t always = good coach.

I know its trendy on here to single out Purse, but does he have the material to work with?

There is zero physicality in this group. The youth team/academy coaching background of Riza thinks playing out is more important than defending. We were promoted with Warnock by keeping old school fundamentals. hard as nail back 4, three kick anything that moves midfielders and some pace up top.

Its underpowered.
