I agree the best squad for about 5 years.
Def Top 10 if managed correctly.
Probably Play offs.
The play offs have been wide wide open this season.

An experienced championship manager would know EXACTLY what to do with them.

Problem is that two of our better players aren’t ours.
Will we bring in the same quality to replace them?
Will we get rid of Ramsey and Ralls to open up wages for younger players?
Will we even continue with younger players?
So many questions

Not really sure where this idea comes from that we have a good squad.
We've made some good signings but there's still a lot of low quality in the squad.
We need more signings like Salech, Alves, Mannsverk, Robertson etc.
Obviously it's likely Alves and Mannsverk will go back to their clubs in the summer so the first job is replacing them.
This is all reliant on us staying up obviously.
But most have rightly constantly said our defenders are nowhere near good enough. If that's true, then how can we have a good squad? A good squad is reliant on good defenders.
Not saying we're a bottom three squad and we should be doing better than we are, but not top half.

Unbelievable Matt that’s what I said about the best two players being on loan and you actually argued against me

I’m losing more and more faith in the club as we go along
Promising last window and I’m glad Alvez and Mannsverk are here, but I do worry that they leave a big gap in the squad when they go back and I don’t believe that our transfer committee will replace with equal quality

They should be looking now to replace the loan players! What ever league we are in? get some lined up for league 1 and also the championship.

The defence is league 1 standard, regardless of how much we've wasted on it.
Nowhere near a top 10 or above defender on our books, in my opinion.

Agree.

The loan system should be used as back up,to fill a gap when a player gets injured not to take up major rolls in the side, because when they go back to their parent club, you ve qo back to square one looking for a player to fill the gap they left

Disagree. The loan system has been a starting 11 boost for at least a decade in the championship. Getting that right is a major variable in the difference between a good and bad season.

The joys of being a football fan, always have people with a different opinion, which is ok but for me,loans can be useful in certain circumstances, but a team with signed players would always do better than a team full of loan players

Time for whoever gets picked to show up and keep this club in the Championship

Is NG, Fish, Bagan,O'Dowda league 1 standard. I'd argue that all 4 of them would be signed by championship clubs.
Daland was apparently a big investment.
NG has been off form this year but the year before won player of the year.
I agree following January this is the strongest squad we've had since the Neil Harris play off team.
The issue we've had is management still don't know their best team.
The Luton home game a horrible example.
The defence has been chopped and changed every game so no wonder it leaks goals and just like Saturday we've been tactically behind in-game decisions. How many wins have been turned into draws. If we had turned half of our draws into wins we would sitting a lot happier now.
If we go down it will be around the clubs management appointments and not having striker cover in the August window.
I also feel if we stay up with the youth coming through it could be a very exciting team to build on next season.
