Mate, despite a close decision not to replace him after the Luton game, I feel that if we go down I feel Vincent Tan will persevere with Omer Riza

We have a decent squad, despite their failings this season, and the ‘easy’ option would be to keep it all together

Something I notice recently, is the lack of ‘support’ the manager has in comparison to his first few (successful) games after taking over from the disappointing and confusing Erol Bulut

Tan will always go cheap so expect another year of Riza or if he goes Purse.

In years to come there will be a book written about the incomprehensible manager choices by Tan.

You literally could not make it up

I wish Tan would realise, doing things on the cheap is costing us more in the long run.

As I've said before we lose £12m at least! So no surprise if tan sells the silverware (salech) ect to offset reduction in income? That's when problem starts as doing the opposite what teams can achieve if successful like Wrexham who's income is greater than a fair few championship clubs ..... don't expect promotion for several years unless tan seriously changes tactics and gets in decent coach and funds decent player acquisition on top of what we have at moment....

There is no way that Tan keeps Riza if we are relegated!!!!

He needs a scapegoat, otherwise its a Tan thats the problem and that can never be the case.

Bagan, Fish, NG, Darland, Chambers, Wintle, King, Robertson, Colwills, Turnbull, O'Dowda, Davies, Ashford, Salech, Willock, Robinson and a few more kids.

You'd have to be inept not to get that lot into at least the playsoffs with a few decent old heads

Providing we manage to keep them? Like said massive drop in income and we would need a skilled coach to get best out what's left and any new players that's needed..

If we go down I don't think that the majority of those players will be with us in league 1 unfortunately, Tan will not pay that kind of wages and most of them wont take the drop either, it really frightens me to say that if we are relegated then it would take more than a couple of seasons for us to bounce back to the championship.

The last time we were relegated to L1, it took us 19 years to get back to the championship

Yes, that’s right, thanks to Sam.

There was a time when we were on par with Brighton, Wolves and Forest

We are now on par with the likes of Wigan & Bolton and up here I see more closely the struggles both of those clubs are having.

I am not going to bother if riza takes us down and he is kept on

I Cannot watch another season of shite football might pick the odd game but really will loose interest if riza remains
How can you be rewarded with taking a team down,
and how can any fan support a manager who has taken us down.

He was rewarded with the full time managers job after going 6 games without a win.

Imagine he keeps us up........He'll end up with an Alan Padrew contract.

Not sure we are doing it on the cheap , top 5 spenders on wages and Transfer fees sadly they've picked the wrong manager.

It’s no longer if, it’s when.

Chris I really hope not, I am hoping that if we do go down VT will realize how much money he will be losing, and even if we do survive I hope he sacks the most incompetant manager we have had for years

A bit dramatic. A "nearly bankrupt" Reading finished 11 points clear and comfortable in L1. There is alot of shite down there.

Trouble is if we stay up Tan will think Riza has done a good job! Anyone could have kept this lot up. Its the chopping and changing that is going to get us relegated and the inept selection. We play our best left winger at left back and our only left back at centre half. Nonesense :banghead:
