The league doesn't lie

Thu Apr 03, 2025 7:22 am

After 46 games and we are in the bottom 3 thats what we deserve

Over recent seasons the management have let the club down and the supporters have been with the team throughout

The managers we have had have been abysmal appointments and always the cheapest option.

Tan will suffer when we go down as he will lose TV revenue etc

Hopefully he then does the decent thing and go

We’ve only played 39 games though so your overly negative post is pointless (hopefully like our relegation rivals over the coming weeks).

Like several others he is writing us off early no matter what stats say regarding wins ect?
There are upto 7 other clubs looking over shoulder any one of them lose Saturday and they're in danger of falling into bottom
3 or within 2 points maximum from bottom 3! If by miracle we win that will put cat amongst pidgeons for those clubs that lose...

We're currently 14th out of 24 for goals scored per game. We were in the 20s at the start of 2025... good improvement.

We are 23rd for goals conceded. Joint 23rd for number of clean sheets.

Its our defence that will kill us. I cannot see anything other than relegation. Derybs back 3 were phenomenal last night.

We've had 2 clean sheets in the last 15 matches. 6 all season with 39 played. Relegation statistics

It was a weird first sentence from the OP, suggesting that the season was over and we'd been relegated.

Also confused why this topic was necessary when there were already at least two topics saying exactly the same thing.

Well somebody’s made it a sticky!

Like many on here they’ve already given up and confined us to a definite relegation ffs.

Whatever happened to proper supporters who’ll fight and support until the end?

The OP is quite possibly a time travelling City fan who just wants to prepare us for the forthcoming pain!

Paul, I think it’s a mixture of lack of faith in us closing out games and taking 3 points instead of the one, and being called out by certain posters on here who make out that those fans who remain positive aren’t ’actual fans’

Still in our own hands with Derby and Hull playing each other.

Let's hope it stays the same after the QPR game.

Agree, and while it’s looking grim and there’s a lot of apathy around the club situation I can’t believe how many ‘supporters’ have literally given up!
