What team would play like that in a ‘cup final’ as Omar referred to it?
No urgency, no battle.. get him gone whilst we still in with a fighting chance to stay up.
He obviously doesn’t know his best team, can’t raise them for the battle.
He needs to go tonight .. haven’t a clue though who we could replace him with .
Sat Apr 05, 2025 4:19 pm
I just don't see them replacing him this season.
International break was the time to do that and they didn't.
Sat Apr 05, 2025 4:21 pm
He adds no value, he is just filling a role, rolling out cliches and pretending to know his role.

Agree,I’ve wanted Riza gone for a while. If they were going to do it,it’d have been before international break. Knowing our board they’ll give Riza a new contract whichever division we’re in

He ain't going anywhere
Sick of the sight of him in truth
I really feel as a fan, I'm just having the piss taken out me repeatedly
Sat Apr 05, 2025 4:29 pm
We don’t have the players, no leaders or battlers. Maybe Rhino but that’s it.
Sat Apr 05, 2025 4:30 pm
Players don't seem to care in my opinion.
Sat Apr 05, 2025 4:41 pm
Give it to Ramsey and Ralls to end of season..they might as well earn their wage ..
Sat Apr 05, 2025 5:15 pm
Ive laughed at this suggestion every single time its popped up, but heard Radio Wales suggesting it....
Warnock time? If not Warnock, someone of the ilk?????
We're sleep walking off a cliff...
Sat Apr 05, 2025 5:16 pm
He should never have had the job in the first place !!!

Ive said since september that we are going down. That performance once again was pathetic ! They dont even look like winning a game ffs. We are surrounded by Fools and Idiots from Mr Tan down to his two puppets and of course the Board !!! You lot have absolutely RUINED OUR ONCE GREAT CLUB !!
Sat Apr 05, 2025 5:17 pm
Why are most focusing on Riza. He is going nowhere.
The real focus should be on Tan and Dalman.

Because we're leaving points out there right now. This management team cannot motivate or manage the team to win games. There has been many opportunities recently; all gone.
Effort was there today, but what a panic and nervy final third.
If Tan and Dalman both left tonight, we'd be no better on the pitch in this scrap. That's the war, we're in a battle right now.

Warnock is only person i reckon who could change way we played and get results now! No bedding in time unfortunately no way we are going to win the 3 games nessasary with riza whilst played ok we did not put enough pressure on their defence to really cause them problems... with ghe dubs we should have gone wide and plonk balls in middle for Salech with Robinson backing up but the crosses when came were generally poor not sure created one clear cut chance especially 2nd half? If couldn't score against this team what chance against better ones .. pessimistic is understatement.. and Preston is now a must win game anything else will 75% relegate us
Sat Apr 05, 2025 6:54 pm
100% warnock time, just till the end of the season to keep us up.
Riza is taking us down.
Sat Apr 05, 2025 7:49 pm
I agree our only shot is warnock to get us 9 points
Sat Apr 05, 2025 8:16 pm
Still say Warnock isn't the answer. You only have to look at his last two jobs.
Riza will be manager until the end of the season, they didn't take the chance on three major occasions to replace him so not going to now.
Sat Apr 05, 2025 8:43 pm
Warnock is happily employed anyway

I just don’t understand how Tan’s mind works
In fairness he’s spent (wasted) tens of millions of pounds of his own money on big transfer fees and huge wages and he’s also dug deep into his pockets to pay all the bills
He certainly hadn’t skimped on many things, yet time and time again he has gone for the cheap option as Manager and none of them have ever worked
Riza should have been replaced months ago but I just don’t understand why he hasn’t it doesn’t make any financial sense

Agree, and I’ve stated this before; the cost of a ‘
competent’ Championship manager pales away in significance when compared to the cost of players and/or relegation
What Vincent Tan repeatedly does defies all footballing knowledge and philosophy
Sat Apr 05, 2025 9:21 pm
Replace Riza, he's appalling. Under a decent manager we'd be mid table by now. We have a mid table squad

Ned he's not long term answer but he's only one who could put together a team capable of winning games...whilst agree about opportunities yo get tid riza not taken but.! Does tan really want to gamble on a coach thats failed miserably to get us out of this mess he's overseen?
Sat Apr 05, 2025 9:36 pm
I’d take anyone over Riza right now.
We need someone who is going drag this team through.
Not someone who smiles when asked about us being in the relegation zone!

It wouldn't be for just a few games though.
If we've learned anything, if a temporary manager does well (in the owner's view) then Tan will just get them to stay permanently. That's backfired with Riza. Same happened with Morison.
My issues with Warnock are not just down to his football management, I've said that many times.
But we shouldn't be bringing in a 76 year old to save us anyway.

But who put Riza there?
Personally I think its too late regarding the manager. We need 3 wins from our remaining games. I doubt the messiah Warnock could acheive that.

New manager bounce needed ASAP.
Riza is one of the worst managers we’ve had.
Still shocking that people were defending him.
Sun Apr 06, 2025 9:22 am
Almost certain Riza will go, but only after we are relegated at the end of the season.
I just hope there is no delay appointing a replacement as someone needs to sort out this mess of a squad before we slide to the basement with Newport!

He’s here to stay he’s had positive talks with tan and purse about next season
