Derbys next two games: Burnley (H) Pompey (A) Our next two

Sun Apr 06, 2025 9:55 am

Derbys next two games:

Burnley (H)
Pompey (A)

Our next two games:

Preston (A)
Stoke (H)

If we don’t finish this coming week outside of the relegation zone we don’t deserve to stay up. Table doesn’t lie

Agreed, if we’re not outside the relegation zone after the next two days I don’t think we escape it

Clutching at straws but if we’re say within a point of safety we still have the Oxford game but we’re definitely going to be dependent on other results then unless we pull our socks up big time.

Clutching at straws totally.

Although Oxford might be safe by then which will have an impact on their performance.

I wouldn’t say ‘totally’ mate. Oxford game could go either way imo, whether Oxford or safe or not. They’re not that great (as the table shows).

It’s time the players and coaching staff stepped up. I’m fed up of the usual lines after every missed opportunity. Time to back up the talk with two victories. Our standards have dropped so low that we’re happy with a 0-0 bore draw against a weakened QPR team.

We need wins and the next two games are easily winnable. If we don’t start winning we are relegated, that’s the harsh fact. Draws aren’t enough.

Oxford have fight in them that sadly Cardiff do not. They are in every game even when they lose.

I think Cardiff will be six points better off this time next week though mainly because I hear there are about to be beneficial changes to mix things up a bit. Hope I have heard that right.

A pal has heard that Risa is going and Ramsey and Ralls are taking over until end of season.

Can’t see that myself mind but I instantly think it would give us a boost.

Not ideal replacements mate, but as you’re hinting to, anything will do atm and we certainly could do with a boost from somewhere. A reputable source?

First time he’s ever said anything to me. He’s a season ticket holder mind. He heard something playing golf this morning. Apparently the guy who told him knows Rambo or something and mentioned it.

Derby Co still have to play after those 2 games - Luton Home - Hull Away - Stoke Home along with WBA Away .
So they can decide their own faith and put other clubs in danger - 3 6ointers coming up for them .
