Some progress then But the question needs to be what plans are there for relegation? New owners new coach two fundamental questions that need an answer for fans to decide if buy season tickets as doing nothing will be bad for sales

Will be very interesting to hear what he says about relegation.

Well I suppose it's positive that he's agreed to a meeting.

But I'm sure you're aware that the club Chairman often says what he thinks people want to hear, so would encourage you to be cautious about what he tells you.

You know that though.

Man do I have a load of direct questions for Tan, Id rather them not go to Dalman as I dont trust him, he has fed us to many broken promises, but I know Tan has gone AWOL and doesnt listen anyway so Dalman it is then, but we have been here before, this is mr spin we are dealing with, its a ploy, disappointed we are not marching because of him

Re: BREAKING : OXFORD UNITED MARCH POSTPONED............

Go if you want to but you will only be falling for his usual tricks and bullshit

Re: BREAKING : OXFORD UNITED MARCH POSTPONED............

Mon Apr 07, 2025 5:02 pm

Imo Dalman is just delaying and doesn't want the protest to take place. You will told more bullshit and nothing will change. The protest should go ahead as planned.

Re: BREAKING : OXFORD UNITED MARCH POSTPONED............

Mon Apr 07, 2025 5:11 pm

Is this the same Dalman who promised more transparency and more dialogue with fans and then went AWOL for the next 3 months??

The man is full of absolute bullshit

However, well done for at least getting a meeting with the tax exile and I hope you get some answers but I’m not holding my breath

100% agree with you they have done it before
The only thing i want to hear is riza and purse will not be in charge next season and vinny is selling up.

Re: BREAKING : OXFORD UNITED MARCH POSTPONED............

Really can’t see him meeting the fans and he will be laughing that his bullshit words got the march stopped. To stop the march he needs to meet asap.

Re: BREAKING : OXFORD UNITED MARCH POSTPONED............

Mon Apr 07, 2025 5:52 pm

All joking aside I will say this is a good move.

Of course he could just be wanting to avoid bad press and could quite easily pull our legs. However the fact he has offered to meet we need to be professional and meet up with him. Depending on the outcome of the meeting will decide our next move.

Just the same rubbish from Memet
empty promises
just to silent us fans

Re: BREAKING : OXFORD UNITED MARCH POSTPONED............

Why postpone the protest when Dalman asking for a meeting doesn't meet any demands. Tan will still be around at least i think until the Sala situation is resolved, so what do you hope a meeting will achieve?

Totally agree as well. It's going to be more bullsh1t, the only reason they have called the meeting is that they don't want the protests to go ahead. They will spin you b0ll0cks.

We want Tan and his clowns out. We should march.

If he turns up! He is not true to his word, the most recent was a promise for improved dialogue and communications, then he became a missing person until today. Why on earth does he need to speak to the organizers of the march and not all Cardiff City fans or even the press? It’s more political spin in an attempt to stop the march because he knows the numbers will be greater this time. I’m marching with my banner regardless from the Napier as agreed. The only thing stopping me is for him to say Tan is selling, and as a bonus Dalman, Choo,Nash and Riza are leaving too. I have had a gut full of all this

Interesting, the post says Dalman agreed to a meeting ?

If it was Dalman that said I will meet if you postpone the march, then you do realise he has won any argument/agreement before he even turns up.

They/he clearly doesn’t want any bad publicity hence him not wanting a march.

For me the reason we went back to Blue was because of the march and the press picked up on the rebrand and how the fans didn’t want it etc, it was nothing to do with Tan’s mum, that was used so he could save face.

And the reason that march was so successful was because every supporter group/influencer (the likes of Annis, Sian, Vince etc) came together and marched together, and there is the problem currently. I cannot see everyone promoting a march again until its too late, and it already maybe, imo the remaining home games should be a march each time.

Bad publicity is the only way to get a reaction from this lot, it’s been proved already, but not everyone is willing to do that unfortunately.

People say if Tan keeps running the club with cheap option after cheap option then nothing is going to change, well guess what that goes both ways, if fans ain’t willing to do anything then nothing is going to change.

When is the meeting scheduled for?

You should demand that it's before the Oxford game or protests will go ahead.

If it does happen before the Oxford game and we're not happy with what he says then protects should go ahead.

Re: BREAKING : OXFORD UNITED MARCH POSTPONED............

Whilst this seems like positive news, I do hope we aren't going to have watered down minutes of said meeting. (If it happens)

Personally id still go ahead with the protest at Oxford game. f**k Mehmet & the board.. useless that's

What good will a meeting do haven't you had enough of his lies and bullshit should go ahead with protest.Just my view

But it’s a ‘Tan out’ group who are supposedly meeting Dalman?
The protest is not about - can we have a new manager please.

I’m guessing they want Tan out so is Dalman going to ‘yes ok Tan will sell if you want to buy’

Waste of time in my opinion.

Ian, you have got to use their arguments against them. That's how it works and this is an ideal opportunity to find out what their arguments are instead of pre-empting them which goes on a lot.

Re: BREAKING : OXFORD UNITED MARCH POSTPONED............

Tue Apr 08, 2025 8:23 am

Agree to a point Ian... but the last time he came out about transparency but there was absolute no communication to be transparent about....he will spin his rhetoric and do exactly the opposite and go quiet for months again

I would tell him meetings are pointless you don't keep your word and demonstrate.

Just my view. I understand yours

Not having a go but you think a meeting is a waste of time,
and protesting is a waste of time
What do you suggest ? To bring about any change,
fans want a change.

unless it's for him to say him, tan and chewy are f#@king off, then the protest should still go ahead, these 3 will never change their ways, it will just be the usual empty promises

Re: BREAKING : OXFORD UNITED MARCH POSTPONED............

Tue Apr 08, 2025 9:19 am

Dalman just likes to be in control, why cancel a protest when he hasn't delivered what he said, better communication / transparency with supporters.

All he's doing is keeping you at arms length, pandering to his rhetoric

Agree monty it's not about tan out "persay" it's about changing how club is run ... what us fans need to know is what plans have they got if as likely we are getting relegated or for championship Don't want to wait until August 31st to know who's manager and who we'll sighn to replace out contract/loan players... its the immediate future we need answers for ? Not asking about when Tan is leaving that's a waste of time and effort for this meeting.

Dalman wont give straight answers... whatever he says is lies

We need a date of when your meeting Dalman be could be pulling a fast one again. We need to keep the protest on until we know. Time is running out it was running out after that Leeds humiliation but no action was taken. 1st defeat to Luton away we could see it looked dodgey but gave him a chance. Luton home he completely fks up again. This is a form job wins keep you in a job ,why is he still here Dalman ? wtf are you playing at . He’s not good enough for the non league let alone the championship. We want answers as to why he’s being rewarded while we suffer on the pitch week in week out.

Re: BREAKING : OXFORD UNITED MARCH POSTPONED............

Tue Apr 08, 2025 1:55 pm

that's what I'm thinking,he'll probably do the meeting after we already play Oxford then he'll talk bs just to fan the flames then we won't hear from him till season tickets are for sale, i think this protest needs to happen otherwise it will be more of the same
