Cardiff manager Omer Riza:

“It’s an important point.”

"Anything we spoke about we didn't do, which was disappointing.”

"First half we weren't good enough, nowhere near it. First and second balls, again off the pace. We didn't press, didn't cover space, we didn't do anything really.”

"Anything we spoke about we didn't do, which was disappointing.”

"But second half I thought we addressed it. We made the changes that we needed to liven it up a little bit and my players are showing fight. I think that's what's important.”

"They worked really hard second half. We have managed to get a point out of it and we have to take that. I think it's an important point”looking at the other results today."

He says we didn't do anything we talk about, so why the f**k isn't he shouting instructions to them instead of standing with his hands in his pockets. I don't think someone like Warnock would be so meek and mild on the touchline

He played for a point when we needed a win.

His comments don't help him either.

Omer Riza:

"We are trying our hardest and we are continuing to try our hardest as a group of players. Yakou Meite, Alex Robertson and Will Alves were all impactful.”

"I keep speaking with Will, I want him to shoot more. I want him to come inside, create half a yard and shoot. That's what he's gone today, he's got half a yard and struck it into that near post. He is a talent, he is exciting. I'm glad he managed to do that today, same for Yak.”

"We are fighting and we'll keep fighting."

Riza admitted the mood in the dressing room was "sombre" despite a last-minute equaliser.

His rationale for 5 at the back was to keep in the game to the second half because of the Preston threat. It's Preston! Shows his inexperience. He sounded lost and deflated. Worrying. Omer you just need to attack, take the risk. You're out of a job in 5 weeks time anyway.

Why wait until halftime if it wasn't going to plan. We wasted another 45 minutes as the players looked lost and the game should have been over.

The two Preston goals were an absolute joke and we were lucky to steal a draw.

I can't believe that if we beat Stoke Saturday it's in our own hands but this manager is trying his best to send us into league one.

Well done to the 400 fans who travelled.

The threat lasts 90mins+ because thats how long games are not 45mins!! Strange quote even by his standards

So Riza, if your players are not carrying out your instructions you need to ask yourself why and also ask them why? There are always reasons.

I think one of them is your constant tinkering with tactics and the first 11. That shows the players that you don't trust them to do their jobs and affects their confidence.

Instead of having to rescue every match from a losing position, how about starting with your best 11 (but of course, you don't know it!)and actually attacking from the outset.

Try shouting at the players rather than discussing you could also mention that the people in the stadium you are representing there called fans you muppet try instilling some pride rather than your boring shite tactics ffs

Almost as if he wants the credit for fighting back? When in reality we shouldn't be doing that we should be out in front 1st half... gets no credit from me for the situation he puts team in.

In the last 6 games only Horvath, O'Dowda and Salech have made the starting line up each time.

It doesn't take a lot of working out that the reason there is a complete lack of cohesion and consitency in our play, and that we look like a team of strangers getting to know each other in pre-season, is because of Riza's selection policy.

Constantly changing personnel and or tactics in the hope you eventually come up with a winning formula is clearly not working.
I may not have the tactical knowledge to understand the boxes that Riza says that the players are trying to create with each other, but I do know that every single succussful city side I've ever seen was based upon us having a solid regular back four. :old:
