Cardiff Down then Tan Out?

Tue Apr 08, 2025 10:03 pm

If we go down, what is the chances of Tan finally having enough and selling up and going finally? Will he be up for league 1? Or will it be too much for him? The only positive I could see if we do go down is Tan leaving, new owners who are hopefully good owners and very very rich to take control and breath fresh air in to the club and reset and start a new era for the bluebirds.

For me, the only positive of relegation would be seeing Tan taking a financial hit and maybe that would see him leave.

If we go down then there's no chance tan would get his money he wants for the club , he won't sell and would look to get straight back up .

He wont get his money back if we go down then get 2 promotions running together. He is deluded.

It looks like there are things going on in the background so some sort of change maybe in the offing

Really don’t want to go down but it would cushion the blow if we somehow had owners come in that cared .

I've seen a lot of this talk on social media, it would mean tan would lose money etc.

we all know its the fans who would suffer, cuts to the onfield budget (which is probably needed) but rising match day costs, season ticket prices increase (from reading the FAB meeting minutes, it looks like that's going to happen for next season regardless)

we'd probably linger in League One with no real direction if he stays and probably fall to league two. either way we'd end with less fans in games, a loss of another generation of fans, it would be disastrous imo

They really need to either keep season ticket prices the same or reduce them , there’s fans not renewing anyway because of the disrespect shown from Tan and his board, and that cold letter they wrote when they gave Riza the job. They will lose even more fans with price increase and what’s on offer from Riza the rat .

That's right, no chance he'll sell if we go down.

Don't know why some people think he'd sell when the club value would go down.

Relegation would be terrible for the club for so many reasons.

Read the Forum; it’s been put out there that ‘something’ is happening but not ‘what’! ;)

But I wouldn’t hold your breath on it being a departure to Malaysia from Gate 2 :ayatollah:

Whatever pain we need to suffer for Tan to leave will need to be accepted. There is no future for CCFC under Tan.
