DO OUR PLAYERS UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION??

Wed Apr 09, 2025 6:46 am

Ok most of us are of the opinion that Riza is out of his depth, but where is the fight and urgency in most of our squad?? One thing you need more than anything in the last 10 games of a relegation fight is EVERY player given his all for the shirt/club. But again last (especially the first half) there was nothing, too many of our squad are not doing enough.

I think O'Dowda definitely has but I was disappointed in Colwill and Ashford last night as I'd have thought that the youngsters would be busting a gut for us.

The situation not only affects the club but also their own reputation and future career. Being part of a relegated side will damage their futures, as they're less likely to be able to command championship level wages.

It's probably deflating for the players when they see the line up and number of defensive players on the pitch, when they know we need to get 3 points.

There are too many players not busting a gut for the club Blame The manager all you want but the players are not exactly doing there job either

See your point but as manager, he needs to do the motivating. If they don't give everything, it's him that needs to get them replaced in the first team.

Winning is a habit and an infectious culture, but so is not winning. We are the latter. Its a rot that sets in and heads drop, energy levels, fight and desire also drop, both individually and collectively. With a manager who simply cant reverse that or instill inspiration or tactical know how. Let alone a consistent team and formation.

Im sure the players do understand the situation, but also Im sure they are aware of how bad things are off the pitch with the protest against the owner and how the manager has hardly any City fan in favour of him.

I hate it

Of course they're aware, the real question should be "do they care" and most don't seem to give a toss about it.
