Lee Trundle: “Anyone out for a Pint? “

Mon Apr 28, 2025 7:05 am

Lee Trundle is absolutely obsessed with Cardiff City:

Trundle tags me in stuff on a daily basics:

Him and the Jacks 24/7 Cardiff City

Today he says:

“Anyone out for a pint”

Jacks main pub

I honestly don’t care about them, way way smaller club than us and always will be.

We may be in a lower league, but we will never have lower crowds than them.

It’s shocking how low their crowds are.

Gotta let them enjoy it, we'd do the same. Unlike us, it's the first thing they teach players (like Trundle) when they sign for the club to despise us. They'll celebrate our relegation like it's their promotion on Saturday. I understand it though, Cardiff has everything that Swansea hasn't as a city. We'll always be the bigger, capital city club. ;)

The only reason he keeps doing stuff like this is because some of our fans rise to it, don't know why - it's obvious he's always just looking for a response from us.

They're gloating now but deep down, I think they're disappointed we're going down. Because the games against us are huge for them - they've even turned around their season before after beating us. They'll miss it next season.

I don't understand why some get so bothered about what they think anyway. Genuinely couldn't care less what they think, we've got enough of our own problems.

No sell out crowd for them next season no cup final they didn’t sell out for Leeds United who where top of the league I saw the pictures big open spaces between them and the Leeds fans they gave Leeds three thousand tickets

Unfortunately it's to do with a number of factors that affect both clubs -

Glory fans
Rugby
Fickle fans

Respectable, I would argue that yours is a lot worse due to your attendance per population size.

Swansea has the largest postcode area in Wales.

They had six years continually in the EPL.

They should be a massive club that built on this six years success. But they are not.

They have a squad which is worse than ours but the reason they stayed up is because they have a more organised hierarchy.

I dislike Trundle as much as every other City fan, but he does it because he gets a reaction.

I’d quite like some of our players to show as much love to Cardiff that he shows to the JBs.

Yet here we are with a team that is over paid, underperforming and quite frankly don’t give a toss.

If people think we wasted lots money and opportunities to push on what can you say about a club that spent 6 yrs in premier league and got £100m+ in players sales?
Wr maybe car crash of a club but others dont have that much to celebrate given how "WELL" run they are and keep boasting about
It !
Trundle is nothing more than a scouser trying to be Mr big to sa1 fans and who cares really what he says?
