Ok if Dave Jones came out with the old 'they would have to kick me out' bullshit then went off and took Bothroyd and Chopra then came back for Burke plus your assistant manager, physio and chief scout, this board would go into meltdown. The manager leaving a club in the lurch is bad enough when they are evolving as a team but to take vital staff and players as well is a bit of a pisstake.

I don't have a problem with martinez myself, but what he did by pinching staff does leave a sour taste.

Not a bad result though tonight as we made 8 changes but were unable to bring on Dyer and Sinclair and Joe Allen as we had used our subs because Augustien and Serran came off injured, plus Ashley Williams was unable to play as he has concussion from the knock he got in the Leicester game. Beattie unlucky to have a goal disallowed as it looked ok on the tv but the lino got that wrong IMHO.
Still proud of them tonight and the support of 4.490. Bigger fish to fry on saturday at Palace though 3 points a priority! And I'll be there but not with a pick and shovel though! More like a few jars and a couple of cheeky chasers!
