70's sitcoms and dramas

Wed Oct 27, 2010 8:46 pm

Following on from the Cookery Corner with Shewie Mcfee :ayatollah: , I just thought I start a thread about 70's sitcoms and dramas. :old: I used to love George and Mildred - those nylon pink baby doll nighties :o ...everytime she used to spark up a fag I thought her 20-cans-of-hairspray coifered hairdo would explode. Lads, the baby doll nightie is coming back I tell ya, in all its 1970's nylon glory.....
Also Olive from On the Buses.............. :ayatollah:
Best show for me was the Sweeney - love it, being allowed up to watch it when I was at home was a real treat. So was watching match of the day........................ :old:
The worst was Terry and June with that bloody awful beige car they used to have - Austin Allegro was it?

You can definitely tell our family had quality viewing in our house :D

Why don't they repeat "Mind your language" I would love to see that again.

Especially when the pakinistani and indian used to have a right old Argie Bargee. In this day and age the do-gooders would have a fit I guess.

Will have to track down the DVD
