I find it shocking how much debt Man United are in! They're a world wide franchise, on TV every week, and have won many competitions recently, yet they still made a loss of £40million+ last year!

I'm not sure I believe anything in The Sun. If I were to name 4 clubs to go bust, I'd say Palace, Notts Co, Pompey and Bolton or Stockport

All their debts have been racked up by the Leprechaun family, the Glazers though

Every club is on the verge of going bust. One wrong move in the market or one bad season and it's dire straits time! Just look at Leeds and Southampton. Rotherham are the same. So many teams struggling financially. Cardiff aren't in that bad of a position compared to others.

Liverpooll if they don't qualify for Champion's League this year.
Man Utd sem to be losing a lot of key players with Rooney and Vidic being touted by Real Madrid, one swipe of the Glazer's pen and they could go as well.....wouldn't ti be f*cking great

it aint the players fault it is the clubs and the agents.

If you were offered 100,000k a week would you say no mate that is far too much give 50,000k well happy with that.

After all it is the players who play the game. Something needs to be done about the parasitic agents.

Why some of these players choose to take on agents in the first place is beyond me, especially as the PFA wil provide an agent free of charge anyway (James Millner uses them in this way). If the clubs refused to pay for an agent's services, as Man United do, there would be no agents sucking our game dry of money. Rio Ferdinand's contract negotiations stalled a few years ago after Utd refused to pay and also refused to up his wages by £10k a week, which was what he needed to pay his agent off.

In my Opinion Clubs will have to cut wages as they just cant be paid anymore, I can Def see this happening and the high wages out side the top 10 of The prem will stop.

in april of this year anybody earning over 150k per year will be paying 50% tax instead of the 40% now so i can see the greedy bastards going back to the clubs for more money.

Steve, I dont see the clubs paying it anymore as they havent got it and there are now less money streams coming through in football.
