When this happens many people say we should play 3 centre midfielders to match them.

If fit and match sharp then his work rate in the middle would have put a lot more pressure on the jacks 3 in the middle, we just allowed them to do what they wanted with no pressure at all.
Once DJ had made the decision to go with 3 in the middle(which I think was the correct one when you consider the problems we have had against 3 in the middle), he could only pick one out of Chopra and Burke to play on the right as you can't play Chopra as a lone striker. Given Chopras record in the big games, it's not really a suprise that he chose him over Burke. Although I would have been tempted to pick Burke and leave Chopra on the bench, I think Chops is wasted playing in a wide role.
Incidentally, I thought Keogh done ok. He won a fair amount of headers in the air, the problem was that Bellamy and Chopra were 20-30 yards away from him so the flick ons were useless. The one criticism I have of Keogh and I noticed this more today than previously is that he doesn't seem to be capable of playing a first time pass. He could have played a few people in today had he made a pass first time, one in particular when Chopra would have been clean on goal in the first half, Chops wasn't a happy boy when he saw him take a touch and then turn the other way!. I think Jay would have been a bit more aware in those circumstances and had the confidence and technique to play it through without having a touch to get it under control.
All in all, we were rubbish but with the chances Bellamy had we could still have nicked a point or a win even though we were on the back foot for most of the game. Three points on Wednesday and it'll all be forgotten..
