At one point i was going to write "Day fucked by Dave Jones" and that was it.I cant even bring myself to put some humour into this report just to pissed off, To an extent i have calmed down now but not much. So here goes.
For the first time i travelled on the Bargoed bus and we got to the Ninian just before ten. The lounge was already getting busy and one by one all the usual suspects arrived Fishy,Taunton Bluebird, Placid Casual, Milly, Jez, Claire, Carl, Annis, Jamma, Pete and wife, Pitbull, sorry if i haven't mentioned anyone, not to mention Warren Feeney. Everyone seemed confident we could win this game and Plenty of alcohol was consumed and then it was on to the ground.
The line up was totally baffling Keogh up front on his own Chopra playing out wide Burke dropped all because Bothroyd was suspended Some on here say Dave Jones dosen't have a plan B but today he proved everyone wrong. If this is his plan B i plead with everyone not to criticize this ever again as his plan A works a hell of a lot better.
With the best attacking options in this league Jones plays 4-5-1 and everything plays down the middle. Our only outlet is Bellers but the Jacks just double / treble up on him and mark him out of the game.
After 5 minutes everyone could see that this was not working Keogh is not an out and out striker and it telled he was out of his depth and out on his own. Drinkwater was shocking and not surprising being out for so long. We was playing the wrong formation with not one player playing any where near there best.
The jacks had said we were a team of individuals well today DJ gave them there wish and we were beaten by very bad management and some shocking displays.
Swansea fans took the piss and who could blame them. On this display we would not of beaten one single Championship game and that is shocking. We all saw what happened so I'm not going to comment on the match so when the final whistle went we made a hasty retreat to the Corporation. There our mood wasn't changed by a large group of plastics supporting Liverpool. These plastics were making a hell of a racket when the Pool scored. I swear Pitpull was getting so wound up he wanted to go and headbutt one or two of these plastics and i tell you now he was serious.
The journey home was horrible and only one thing everyone agreed on was Dave Jones screwed us up and this is coming from someone who is pro Jones but what i really am getting pissed off with his; "i dont give a toss with these derby games" and it seems he gets off on f*cking these games up on purpose just to make the point. This is not my normal "My day thread" but it wasn't a normal day We now need to bounce back against Reading and after reading Jones after game interview it made my blood boil I thought his comments were shocking.
