Cardiff City 2 Swansea City 1

After last Easters win, Dave Jones declared it as'just another good three points'.

Since yesterday, Brendan Rodgers esq has already claimed that the build up for yesterdays'game was like'A Champions league final',and he would be joining the partying hoards of mongs down there in some celebratory drinking, and to cap it all today, predicts Marvin Emnes has written himself into folklore :-D

The narrow-mindedness of these idiots never ceases to amaze me. Dave Jones might get it wrong every derby day but that lot down there would swap a month of defeats from now, in exchange for yesterday. That is why, as usual, we'll be above them AGAIN in May. If Jones made those comments after we beat them in April, he would have sounded as if the game was the Be all and end all, but it's not. To them it's everything, and if they drop points in their both games this week, it won't upset the clowns that much. I look forward to opening the gap back up again very soon. That's a cert

you must be getting old
years ago it did feel like be all end all these days a derby defeat doesnt hurt me like the 80s and 90s.

like you say i look at the whole picture we are above them and will be at the end of the season let them have their little bit off fame because come the end of the season when we need 3pts to clinch promotion they will be sitting in their pubs supporting whoever we are playing as usual .
but this season they will be crying in their beer... :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

The managers comments is endemic of their Cardiff-despising, Alan Tate/Trundle flag incident,The rest of their players with the'Swim Away'Nonsense along with their constant chip on the shoulder about their superiors down the M4. We, as fans hate them, because it's borne out of natural football rivalry, but if our players or staff were seen to be so bitter toward Swansea,as they are of us, then it would be embarrassing.
