New signings in jan

i posted on here a few weeks ago about making at least four new players in jan a few agreed a few didnt surely its obvious we need these players. when ollie missed two games we lost them both when jay missed a game we lost again so its plain to see we have not got the players to cover when we lose certain players. dave jones doesnt help matters the way he disrupts the team but thats my opinion. also no reserve games to benefit players coming back from injuries. im sure it cant be that difficult to arrange a kick about with another reserve team on a regular basis to keep our sqaud players a bit sharper.

not a clue who, and think that will depend on our league position in Jan... But we need players in form now, not ones looking to get fit.

Ishmael Miller or Nile Ranger would be good cover for Jay in my opinion.

Miller would be a good backup for and option with Jay.

A Carroll and Amoebi type partnership like @ the toon would be a chance to mix it up now and then, become a bit less predictable.

Would Edgar Davids be a cheap option until Jan 1.He would provide some decent cover for the central midfield role.I was impressed with him at CCS

surely with Tony Mowbray at boro, and with a squad filled with players he didnt want or like at celtic could see a clear out, plus they aint got the money no more so it could be a good few lads there available.

After watching our defenders Sunday, who werent bad. I think we could
get away with no new players in January. We have the squad, we have
the first eleven.

What we dont have is a manager who will grab the bull by the horns when
things arent working and CHANGE things. Either because he doesnt have
the football brain OR (more worryingly) because when he makes a decision,
when he picks a team, when he settles on a certain tactic... and when it
isnt working... he just cant see it, and genuinely thinks when things go
wrong that it cant be his fault!!!

Also, the guy who's suggesting Miller or Ranger... Miller is a class player at this level and would be a terrific signing but Nile Ranger? My God, he's dreadful. I'd take Eddie back rather than that bow legged fool!

Yes he has had injuries. However, as the pace of the game is slower in the Championship, I think he could be what we need.
