Your team V Blackpoo

I'd go with:

--------------------Marshall--------------------

Matthews---Gyepes---Gerrard---Mcnaughton

----------------------Blake-----------------------
--Burke-------------------------------Ledley----
-----------------Whittingham------------------

----------McCormack---Bothroyd--------------

Reasons: We must attack (they have 2 CB's out), Whittingham is fantastic on the ball and I've wanted to see him in this role for AGES!. Matthews loves getting forward and Kev can too, so with Darcy in the deep role he will drop to 3 CB if needed. Ledley, we know can play this role, and if need be we can bring Etuhu on as a replacement or even McCormack LM and Chops/Feeney up front.

I know DJ won't go for this so I will predict his team:

Marshall
Matthews-Hudson-Gerrard-McNaughton
Burke-Ledley-Rae-Whitts
Chops-Bothroyd

Same old DJ, he won't appreciate their defence is weak and attack, he will let the away team dictate as usual!

TG in Goal, he's the only one who can save us. Central defence Sludge coz he's hard ( he can be our modern day Don Murray, go chop em sludge) Dave Jones (back out of retirement) alongside, just as well coz he's a waste of space on the sidelines (sorry Dave) Vince and Corky full backs coz they iz good defending for the club. Annis in central midfield he can run the show coz it's wot he's good at, cheggers and owain alongside coz their his right and left hand men. Pistol Pete on the one wing and Sam the man on the other. They may not be fast but their both slippery customers. Up front all on his own to bang em in The Lone Gunman - shoot em from the hip son. I'll be the manager on the sidelines. Gotta be me coz I'm pretty good at football manager and I knows how to play all different systems. Listen carefully lads were abandoning 4-4-2 for today I say 4-5-1, load up the midfield and watch TLG do some damage. Oh and Holloway you so much as open your gob anywhere near me son and you will get a sharp left one right on the conk. Come on you Bloobirds, let's have you there wont be no slacking on my watch you lazy bastards. You won't see me with my arms folded in the dugout. I'll be screaming my tonsils off stood there in me JImJams dressing gown and leaky wellies :ayatollah:

Good team choice there - though you may need a couple of decent full backs on the bench cos I think Corky's legs will be gone by the second half.

Allright Pal I just sacked Terry Burton as my assistant and installed you in his place. You can pick the subs, but dont forget the strategy, there no fugging 4-4-2 for me right and if Holloway kicks off when I give him a sneaky left you watch my back allright coz I'm gonna do some damage :ayatollah:

OK mate - I'm thinking about Sludge out on the left wing though - thats where he seems to be most comfortable. If you don't agree, that Loya Jirga lad also seems comfortable out on the left.

Also, that Ucello Azzuro chap- must be good - of Italian decent?? Also, seems to have a winning mentality.

TNT should be in there somewhere with his vast knowledge of the game. We also need Vince in there somewhere - we need to arrange transport to the away games as we can't afford the bus compny anymore.

You got Cheggers in there so we are ok for the after game Chinese, so thats all good. I'm not sure about the lone gun man up front though - don't wany those tarantula's all over the place.

We may need a little pace to bring on later in the game, so I'm thinking Caliburn and The Other Bob Wilson.

What do you think boss??

I think you mean leg. He wil use the other one as a club if their speedy winger tries any tricks.
