We await his statement!

Yeah lets wait for the usual bullshit. Will he be honest and tell us that he's used the season ticket money to pay them, and as a result we will have no players arriving. Or perhaps he'll also announce the sale of a few of the boys.

Oh dear :?
I look forward to seeing Peter Ridsdale's statement to clarify the matter - I'm sure there is a logical explanation behind all this and that the Feb 10th date will be of no consequence, when the HMRC outstanding amount is paid by the end of this week as was indicated to us all by the club earlier this week :D ;)

He's working hard on it  oh the bullshit keeps on flowing  Seriously though sounds like we have been given a stay of execution i.e. We have paid some of the £2.7 million and the balance will have to be paid feb 10th or its curtains.

This all depends on 'what's happened to the season ticket money' but by my calculations 4 x players on £5,000 P/W would equal £400k between today and 31/05/2010.

If we have raised £3m from season ticket sales then in theory it should be possible to pay off the taxman and sign/loan 4 players provided no transfer fees were involved :?:

Well, nice of a Jack to be concerned.

Our business model is somewhat better than theirs, however; we rely on player sales, they seem to rely on manager sales...

Tony, there are often substantial fees involved in loan deals, as well as paying their wages. This can range from nominal amounts, to several 100 thousands of pounds, nigh on a million even at times. Given we are apparently in the market for Premiership players, they would command wages of far more than £5k a week. They would also likely command fairly substantial fees. Forgive me for being more concerned about other things than who we may potentially sign though. Awaiting the next installment of lies and propaganda with nothing but contempt, let us hope the Malaysians do invest otherwise we all know where we are going.

Well I assume fees are nominal and our contribution towards wages would be around £5k per week, but even if it was £10k per week we would still only be talking £800k and we know from TNOW story/TLG blog there are other income streams coming in during January.

we owe taxman 2.7million allegedly wage bill of 1.2 million per month thats 8.7 million we need over next 5 months without other outgoings
