The key is whether an embargo in introduced when a winding up petition is issued or when a winding up order made. If the latter then we're OK to sign players, if the former then we're in the shit

What is strange is that the embargoes on other clubs e.g. Portsmouth, Plymouth, etc. were in the public domain yet there is nothing being said about us. That would seem to indicate there isn't an embargo currently in place
