TELL ME I'VE GOT THIS WRONG, SOMEONE .

BBC stating football league 'won't comment on whether CCFC under transfer embargo. '

From what I've read here, doesn't it mean your players loaned out have to come back, if you are in this situation ?

And haven't Capaldi, Feeney, and the lad at Plymouth, just come back in recent days ???

I posted this reply on another thread.

The FL issue an embargo as soon as HMRC or others issue a winding up petition. Are Cardiff City any different?

Jones' is talking nonsense about loan players having to go back straight away once under embargo. If their initial loan period expired while under embargo that would happen. In Etuhu's case he signed on loan for the season.

Pompey had a transfer embargo imposed months ago. O'Hara only returned to Spurs when his initial period was up and then Pompey couldn't renew..

Likewise at Plymouth. They had a transfer embargo put in place in early December, now lifted. They did not have to send Darcy Blake back immediately but only at the end of his intial loan period.

The FL might be remaining tightlipped but until we settle our debts I firmly believe we have an embargo in place.

I don't believe that it applies to players loaned out and certainly not transfers out.

I think it is only players coming in... i.e. I'd be very surprised to see Kelvin on the Bench tomorrow.....

Also we do have a Transfer embargo surely? It's in black and white here the rules:

It's more likely that the loan deals were up, rather than them being sent back. Very common for loan deals to end 31st Dec.

Actually that rule opens up an issue that I hadn't thought about. If PR is telling the truth, for a change !!, and HMRC has given us until end of January to pay, does that mean that we haven't, technically, fallen behind with payments ? Therefore no embargo yet  :?

Very confusing  Just wish someone would tell us, guess work does nobody any good.

Thats exactly what happened except for Warren, he came back himself due to Sheffield Wed Problems.

Is very confusing and the "lack" of Truth coming out from the club doesn't help the matter.

Whatever happened to Transparent Pete?
