I think the board is well balanced and far from one sided, Blazing Saddles does his best to ensure that, but it is a football board rather than what we had for dinner today and who's watching what on the telly.

I've always compared the message boards to going into a pub for a bit of fun and banter and catch up with friends. Mike's board due to it's well deserved popularity became a sort "Walkabout" type pub, always full, well run, but attracts all types of people (and the bouncers could occasionally be a bit over the top too).

This board is your Kings head in Canton, only visited by fanatics who just want to discuss CCFC and not much else. I still visit Mikes board and have a look around, I've literally grown up with it, but feel much more at home with the company on this one.

Cheers Gwyn, not so bad yourself you know! I do find this board a lot more pleasant and at least as informative as the other board(s). That's not a criticism of Mike at all, he is an excellent contributor himself and due to the size and amount of contributors over there, it is harder to police, long may it continue that this site continues to have diverse opinions, conflicting debate, but the ability to respect each others views.

I just love everyone's respect for each other's views. There's no 'you're talking bollocks' or 'shut the f**k up'. Everyone is given their voice, listened to and challenged. It's all fair and gentlemanly. I'm a big fan. I can't single out any prolific posters because every day a different person posts the best post.
