Wed Dec 01, 2010 5:00 am

for me we need to change things up a bit i'd go

............................HEATON..........................
...............hudson......blake.......gyepes...............
..matthews.....................................mcnaughton
............................olly.................................
..................whitts..............drinky....................
.............................bellers.............................
.............................bothroyd..........................

sort of 5 at back plaing super kev and matthews providig us with more width and pace something we've been lacking last few games

olly to back up the 3 centre half with whitts and drinky bursting through the centre with bellers playign just off jay giving him room to rip up defence and drag defenders in to create space for wing backs???

obviously leaving out burkey ( great form at the moment but system doesn;t give him a spot)
chops ( not 100% at the moment anyways)
koumas
keogh
mcphail

plenty of options on bench to go extra up top of switch back to 4-3-3 / 4-4-2

your thoughts????

Well, I felt we played well at QPR until Drinkwater went off. That's what fucked us. Keep the 4-3-3 but I'd play...

GK: Heaton (I prefer Marshall but Heaton hasn't done much wrong recently)
DR: Blake
DL: McNaughton
DC: Hudson
DC: Quinn (he's always done well at centre back)
MC: Drinkwater
MC: Olofinjana
MC: Whittingham (needs to start pulling his finger out)
AMR: Burke
AML: Bellamy
FC: Bothroyd

I'd have Wildig/ McPhail come on for Whittingham if Whitts is having a stinker and Chopra on for one of the top three if we're losing. I really rate Chopra's work rate and think it makes a world of difference but right now we need the other three more. Would be tempted by playing a 4-4-2 to accommodate Burke and Chopra though.

I think the problem with us at the moment, is that we are changing things up too often.

There isn't much stability for players to get used to the play on the field.

And it just goes to show with our lack of form for the last few games
