I would currently value him at £1million, we should have taken the £6million Stoke offered us last season and perhaps we would not be in so much mess now if we had.

Stoke offered £1 million up front - at the time he was worth more than that

Totally shocking performance from Ledley the 'Cardiff City lover' today, and last week, and the week before, and the week before that etc etc

He (and his agent) are after the money, simple as. He ain't the player he was 18 months ago and I'm sure he is better off just going soon as
He doesn't care for CCFC, he cares for getting a nice chunky contract as he has no transfer fee to worry about.... unfortunately he's been two bob for over a year, hence why there's no bidding war or pre contract already signed.

And regarding your second point we'd be lucky to get '50 Cent' for him the way he's playing at the moment.

Agree with everything said above. Hard to put a positive value on his last 18 months if we're being ultra critical.
However was up Eclipse tonight (formerly Tells) for those of you familiar with Penarth, with that other vastly overrated player on this year's showing, Ross McCormack. And (apologies that this isn't an irate rant that slags them both off) you couldn't have met two nicer blokes. Doesn't change today's performace though I admit.

I agree though his value has plummeted this season and he's shot himself in the foot. You can't really say he's after the money though because if he was he would have signed the improved contract and then requested a transfer. It'll take him a year or two to make up what he would have made over the past 2 seasons if he accepted the improved contract.

Still, the bottom line is that right now he wants to move on and we should just let him. We're not going to give him the hip op unless he signs a new deal so he's going to be like this for the whole season. I saw marked improvements in his game before Christmas so it shows he can do it. So he can use the hips as an excuse.

We'd be lucky to get £500k maximum for him this January.

In fairness Nobby if the club had sold him there would have been uproar at the time.
