We have to be realistic (unlike Uncle Peter) with these valuations and remeber that there are very few clubs in this country who will be looking to spend millions of pounds on any players but particularly those at Championship clubs.
So here goes - feel free to disagree!
Marshall - 1million tops
Mcnaughton - £750,000. We rate him but full backs rarely fetch large sums of money.
Matthews - 3 million. Still unproven and far from the finished article. Could turn out to be another Ramsey - or another Gunter!
Kennedy - nil. Too old.
Quinn - £100,000. Surely only a Scottish club would be interested and they're all broke, even Celtic and Rangers.
Hudson - £100,000. If we were very lucky.
Gerrard - £750,000. Has age on his side and has shown some potential.
Gypes - £100,000. Lack of game time will lower any value he may have had at the end of last season.
Rae - £100,000 - see Quinn
Ledley - £500,000. Can't see any tribunal awarding more than that and of course if he goes to a "foreign" club like Celtic then no compensation would be payable anyway.
Whitts - £2 million. And that would be top dollar.
Mcphail - £500,000.
Taiwo - nil
Burke - £750,000.
Commingues - the square root of f**k all.
Capaldi - see Commingues.
Magennis - £100,000. Potential as yet unfulfilled.
Chopra - £3 million. Let's be realistic here. We could not expect more for a player who has had a chance at the Premiership and not set it alight, has well documented personal problems and goes on long barren spells where he never looks like scoring.
Mccormack - £2 million. A shadow of last seasons player. No goals this season. Can't see many teams paying even that much.
Jay - £1.5 million. Too inconsistent to be worth any more and certainly not a prolific goalscorer. Not too many teams lump it up to a big man in the Premiership any nowadays. Stoke perhaps?
Wildig - nil at the moment.
Feeney - £50,000 perhaps if one of the wealthier League 1 teams think he's worth a punt.
Enkelman - nil.
Blake - nil.
Dennehy - nil.
I make that about £16,300,000.
I'd love to see how The Riddler has worked out his figures but then maybe that's why we are in the shit we are in !!

The man speaks out on and off the pitch, and has settled down in the club. He's also doing his best with all the inexperience that surrounds him. to value him at £100,000 is a joke! as are some of your other valuations........
