Whats Dave on about i.e this booing malarkey?

Sun Jan 10, 2010 12:21 am

I dont think anybody was booing at the players. They were booing at his inept decision making. Gawwwd help us. We go one up and guess what holloway goes 5 in midfield against our four, would you believe it they score a goal, surprise surprise. It takes him 25 minutes to change the system to match them in midfield, whoopeedoo. Ok so off goes Burke, on comes Matthews, where does Matthews our fullback go, central midfield yes. We have two central midfielders on the bench, what are they there for? not only that he sticks our top goalscorer from last season out wide and leaves Feeney up front on his own. Correct me if I am wrong but Feeney has never scored a goal for Cardiff City  . Lo and behold theres movement on the bench, it's Chopra - oh thank fugg for that I think, get Feeney off for gawwddds sake, but no, wait a minute Chops comes on to replace McCormack on the wing and Feeney is still up front on his own  . You couldn't make it up could you  and he wonders why we boo (not at the players Dave but at your inept tactics). Dave Jones, you are the weakest link, close the door on your way out and take tweedledum with you.

His post match interview comment "um wat do they want"

Well if he doe not know what the fans want - then get the fook out of the job!

Decent play, decent defending, attacking game n goals! Any fan knows there are wins and losses but we have thrown some corkers already this season and there is NO excuse - but that is all Jones' seems to be giving lately............

He needs to come and sit himself in the Ninian Stand for a game and actually see from an elevated view of the "play" and formations that we are put through each game because I am sure from the Side line he is seeing some great play! Its not working and unless he stops being stubbon in his way of play the another promotion will not be on his C.V.

This is Championship level and most of the time what we get is "park" ability - yesterday was a farce with his decisions - lets hope he scraps that idea of play for tuesday against Bristol and his half time talk every game seems to confuse players not encourage!!!

Back to basics - stay in position and no showboating should definatey be pointed out.

How can fans back the players when they are played in/out of posititon with out the support of others plyers - their is a HUGE lack of confidence in the team and with all the specuation going on around them who can blame them!

Oh and Mark Hudson should not have the Captaincy - On the pitch you need a motivating player who can give 100% and more and still play his own position under pressure and still keep the team on field foccussed.

Booing was definately not aimed at the players it is mangement decisions!!!

In all fairness, Hudson has been a much better player over the past 2 months. I'd still like to see a midfield general with the captaincy but right now he's our best option. He is winning me over. Not 100% perfect but he's settling and will prove to be a decent player... until we get to the Premiership! Then he'll have to go!
