I never had a lot of respect for Dennis Wise, but on Football Focus on Saturday, he said something that made me think he's an even bigger wanker than I already thought. He said he thought the reason Allardyce was sacked was because the new owners have come in and wanted their own man installed and Allardyce wasn't that man. But how can that be? They have said that they don't know who they want yet and are quite happy with Steve Kean doing the job until the appoint someone, so that shoots Wise's theory down in flames, really.

I also think that people are looking too much into this whole Chopra/India link. He's not good enopugh for the Premiership and even the people of India, with their probably limited knowledge of the English game, won't really have their imaginations captured by a player who, at the very best, would probably be sitting on the benchg every week
