Is it true that the Money due from the finance Company has not yet been paid to the Club as they are a little worried about the future of the club?
Also anybody who has paid by Credit card thinking the money will go straight to the club, may not know that credit card payments go to a clearing house type of organisation first. If the credid card company have any doubts about the future viability of the so called vendor, they hold on to the money for as long as possible because if the vendor then goes belly up after the cash has been handed over, the card company has to reimburse the customer 9within 90 days of purchase) . If no money has been transferred then the card company does not lose out.
So may be we have not had any money so far anyway!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe you are right, while there is a court case pending, I believe they may have held back the money and rightly so. The Visa money they have had I have checked as they never knew about the court case pending.

Apparently 60% of season ticket renewals have been via Zebra Finance. I'm not sure if they can hold onto any cash as they would be in breach of the credit agreement they have with the supporter.
There might be a 'processing lag' between when you return your agreement and when the club receive the cash. This is generally around 3 weeks which is why the first repayment does start until 28 days after you return your signed agreement.
We know up until Christmas about 4,000 season tickets had been sold. In the final weeks of December (after the refund on condition of promotion was added to the deal) it appears around 6,500 were sold (est 3,900 via Zebra).
The club must have received in full all cash from pre-Christmas sales Zebra included (I paid via Zebra in November and have made 2 repayments so far).
This means the club could be waiting for the final £1.2m (3,900 * £300) to be paid from Zebra. The three week lag would be in about '10 days time' which might explain why the tax bill won't be paid until then.
All guess work but it does fit.

True cash or debit cards will have been paid, as for Zebra its just what I heard.
As for credit cards there was a guy on radio 5 giving the rundown on why some compaies have gone to the wall due to credit card companies covering their rear end. given the press coverage we are now getting I suspect they will be looking at us in a little more detail before handing the cash over.
Only 3 people I know, who have renewed did not pay by credit card.
If you were a card company what would you do.....

Just say the club did go into administration would it make much difference to our season tickets. As creditors the administrator would just give us our tickets to satisfy the debt whilst everyone else who was owed cash gets 10p in the pound.

Surly the CC company cannot hold onto what is 'your' money indefinately? There must be a time limit by when they have to pay up?
