A decent strike rate goal every 2.4 games. Dont know how many off the bench though.

I was about to say, he hasn't even been a main stay in their first team has he? That's a decent record for someone who can drift in and out of a team... which is exactly what we want. You won't find anyone else with a strike rate like that who will cost as little and be happy to play second fiddle to Jay.

I think 28 goals in 101 games tells the real story on this one.

He's had about 30 subs appearances too.

But the lad can score, lets not forget out of the games he's started he would have been taken off at some point in most.

he's the ideal cover for Jay. Jay cant play 90 minutes, e tires in the last 10-15, so Parkin can come on. When Jay isnt fit Parkin can have 60 mins and Keogh 30 playing against tired centre halfs.

Parkin needs to be used though, regularly otherwise he'll get out of shape badly.
