any one else agree with me not long ago he was our best defender he now looks totally shot due to being in and out of team playing in different positions with different partners its time our youngsters were given achance at least we get some energy andurgency in our play cant do any worse than some of them in possesion of shirt at present time jonesy put an arm around the youngsters and give them some confidence and commitment in thier ability to maybe get us back on track

think you need to look at his personal life rather than blame DJ, DJ has looked after darcy since hes been at Cardiff, if i was the manger he would have gone a long time ago-not a top championship player in my opinion. Theres been reports that hes out drinking alot and not looking after himself

Totally agree....and he has 'form' for THINKING he's better than he is and doesn't need to try too hard

Since he started modelling himself on John Terry (hair cut and all ) his game has gone downhill....

Before last season he was on his way out, loaned out to Plymouth. Came back and got lucky after a few injuries and got in the side. Hasn't been anywhere near as good as last season. Good League One player, but I don't think this is DJ's doing.

so how come he turned his bad habbits around gets in the team on regular basis the gets messed around by jonesy and its back to being a noughty boy again (whats jonesy exscuse over mathews/jarvis /wildig this season)and lots of youngsters in the past name one youngster brought through since jonesy been with us who is in our starting line up or infact any where near our team

simple-NOT GOOD ENOUGH....Matthews has come on a couple of times this season and on each occassion hes either cost us the game or the team has fallen apart and got stuffed.

Darcy has also cost us goals including wreckless chalenges in the box at watford and bristol-lucky not to give pens away-he looks slow and not fit

totally agree with you ccfcdor they are bench half the does not give you great confidence if we need to bring them on

im sorry, but speaking the truth to the press about a players stupid costly mistake SHOULD NOT knock total confidence out of a player. It should make that player work extra hard and try to stop those mistakes and prove to the manager. Players get paid alot of money, they need to take personal responsibility, why is it always jones fault?.

i thought darcy had a brilliant season last season !! yes not the most skill-full player but always gave 100 % last season. iv seen him play in rm cm rb and cb an has given 100% everytime but this season he has not looked in great shape an looks lazy on the field

dont forget he had injury and was in plaster for couple of weeks

Darcy showed talent, he was immense for 9/10 games last season. But
it was because he knew he was going to be playing cos of injuries etc.
Matthews is a very talented young lad.

Facts are, David Jones DOES NOT trust his young players. You only have
to look at possible Britains hottest prospect for ten years to see that.
Aaron Ramsey was put straight in Arsenals first team squad IN MIDFIELD
played Champions league games IN MIDFIELD, yet although he was by far
the best player in the side when he broke through at Cardiff.. he got
dropped as soon as McPhail was fit.
