Stoke made 7 changes - they only need a couple of those back & they will give us a spanking

Did he even have a medical or what?

Re: NO PARKIN AGAIN

Unfair to bury him before he's dead. Give Parkin a chance, he's picked up an injury, missed two games in the last 4-5 days, and one of them was today, a game we don't need to win.

Parkin will be a good signing

He ain't like sicknote Riggot or Bothroyd

Re: NO PARKIN AGAIN

Sat Jan 08, 2011 4:04 pm

yeah he is injury prone because he has missed two games

Other than Riggot who they tied up on a very solid contract and Bellamy who we knew was coming with a dodgy knee but worth it, who else has been injury prone this season??
Suppose you could say Jay, is that Jones fault, should we get rif of Jay because of it

Mcphail. He had cancer ffs. How was Jones to know that was going to happen. He's still played 150 games for us. Parkin has hardly had an injury in his life and this one is minor.
Jay has played 100 in 2 and a half seasons.

And Koumas, nothing wrong with him, but he's just not as good as he was.
Do you think we should have walked away from a bargain just cos he cant play for a week.

the players mentioned have ALWAYS been injury prone or are hard to get fit these are FACTS no mater what club they have been at ,its f**k all to do with mcphail having cancer so dont even go down that route :old:

Sorry, you are wrong. Players who knock out 35 games per season can't be described as injury prone.

Bothroyd, Parkin and McPhail arent injury prone, look at their appearance records. McPhail played 150 games for us and it would have been near 200 without his cancer scare. He's played nearly 300 in his career. These are the FACTS. What yOu have quoted is merely opinion. One which I certainly think, backed up by GENUINE fACTS is miles out.

If these players are 'injury prone' for missing 5-10 games per season then so are 5/6 from every other club.
