This will be your problem now due to all the bad news being in the public domain, creditors will be stacking up insisting on repayment of their dues. Behind a football Club in crisis there will be creditors that football fans will not even think of away from the day to day football side of matters and thats when Clubs have not just built a new stadium. It really does not sound like good news, it will be down to the board to appease these creditors and stop them from taking further legal action. The creditors who are always in the strongest position for repayment are those who can take away what the Club needs/requires without being able to switch suppliers for instance training facilities, where as Companies such as Bus Companies can be switched to other sources. On this forum its evident that suppliers to the stadia build still remain unpaid whilst Peter Ridsdale has taken a Stadia completion bonus. This must be vital one of the matters your shareholders/Trust need to use to oust Ridsdale if you call your EGM.

Apparently They have changed all the locks and City and Our players werent told the New Security code, ONLY WHAT I HAVE JUST BEEN TOLD BY OUR CLUB.
Wed Jan 13, 2010 1:17 pm
So, have they been deliberately locked out or not?
Wed Jan 13, 2010 1:22 pm
Large monies owed and changed codes on a day the main squad would not be present I think tells you the real situation. What spin will Peter give you all on this one?

Perhaps someone could conveniently pop down the Vale tomorrow morning and see if City are there?
Wed Jan 13, 2010 2:33 pm
I have it confirmed by somebody by PM that it is actually fully correct and those were the actions of the landlords of the training facilities today and the source of the PM has never been incorrect as of yet regarding Cardiff City matters.

I BELIEVE You might be correct TNT from my sources at the Vale.

So we wont be protesting at the vale then?
Wed Jan 13, 2010 3:01 pm
thought it funny, they were training on the pitch last week before blackpool so asked and was told this last week, but if asked the club were going to blame the snow.

fking joke

Many clubs have been training on pitches this week as often training pitches are frozen -there won't be undersoil heating at the Vale.
Also, whilst not disputing the rumour, I suggest that if we owe £500,000 in 'rent' to use the facility, especially as this could only be for a matter of 9 months at most, we are better off without it, at those rates.

Extortionate rates!
They can get out my back garden for a free kick around - kids been out there with hammers this week to shift the ice!
I could do a deal refund for next seasons ST - ummm then again maybe not!
Hasn't anyone noticed there is a park right next to the stadium lol im sure if they need to save the pitch they can go over there with a few cones n bean bags
SORTED!

All facilities were built by the Vale. Cardiff Blues and Cardiff City pay rent to use the training facilities (ie pitches, offices and the Private Members gym).
The team (and PR) were at the Training facilities on Monday. Therefore, I can only assume that the 'changing of the locks' was a warning to the club by the Vale. Quite a cute move really. I shall be at the Vale gym tomorrow morning so I shall keep a watch out for any Cardiff players (whether in disguise or not!!!).

Section A wrote:I was down there delivering and was told that our Club has been banned till further notice. I started asking questions, but most staff were keeping quite until I saw someone I always bump into when I deliver, apparently City owe about £500,000 and until Gerald Leek is paid, we cannot use their facilities.
The pavilion has been locked up and our injured players were turned away.
?????

No doubt now that the story has hit the forums Peter Ridsdale has been on the telephone all day to the creditors of the training facilities trying to make financial payment promises in return for being allowed back tomorrow before the press start investigating the matter, maybe he will tell the same story to the creditiors as he did HMRC. Matthews is going to Manchester United for 4 million plus he has the season ticket money as well! If thats the case why are certain shareholders lending the Club money to pay HMRC?
Manchester would never pay 4 million for Matthews, especially upfront, and if they were too the deal would have been completed by now.

The Vale took this action against the WRU a few years ago and refused to open the indoor pitch until all outstanding invoices were paid.
1st post to the new board!!!
