Latest on James Vaughan

The deal with Vaughan is at a crossroads as I have already stated on here before.

The deal City offered was £500k up front and £500k based on appearances.

Everton are happy with the £1million figure but they want it guaranteed, not based on if he makes so many appearances.

Everton want so much now and so much at a later agreed date.

So the deal is not dead but just needs fine tweaking from possibly both sides.

Woodgate? any advance ?

Why are you even trying to sign him?

not difficult! the hard part i thought was the £500 k upfront!! gethin get it sorted, we can give the other 500k when we get promoted!!

just had a thought though where is the £500 k coming from if the malaysians arent putting cash up front?

same here, really think we need to push for a defender, i would be happy to add woodgate but we need someone who can fit in right away ie shittu, wilson, curits davies!!

worries me this. he is probably only a couple more injuries away from wrecking
his career. On paper this looks a good deal for Everton. Why are they concerned
about Vaughan playing enough games??

Quite like the look of Ryan Harley at Exeter. Austin would be a great signing - his parents are living down this way and a friend of his works with me in Bournemouth. Apparently there are 3/4 championship clubs after Austin of which we are one. Plenty of decent players in league 1. Need to stay clear of Bartley he is crap. Cherries centre half Pearce is decent though and well worth a pop - they are in turmoil as well. Eddie Howe jumping ship as chairman Eddie Mitchell has told him he needs to sell - get in quick whilst they are under fire.
