So who's to blame?

Wed Jan 12, 2011 4:18 pm

In a recent interview, Dave Jones slated 'famous messageboards' for posting information about Andy O'brien and apparantly therefore leading to him signing for a team he was already playing for (Well done Dave, you're outdoing yourself with these excuses).

This has led to people blaming Carl/Annis for posting about such potential signings in his updates.

But who is REALLY to blame for players like Andy O'Brien?

Does the blame lay with the National Media, who pick up on these and spread them like wildfire?

Does it lay with the Local Media, who hear a proposed move and spread it like wildfire?

Does it lay with Carl Curtis or Annis Abraham (or similar people with sources within the club), who recieve this information from sources within the club and pass the information on to any fans who wish to know?

Does it lay with the sources themselves, who feed information out of the club to allow fans to hear about situations like these?

Or does it simply lay with Dave Jones and whoever else deals with the actual signing of players? It seems to me that this is most likely the case. Dave Jones et al simply doesn't move fast enough or offer a "good enough" offer for the player, that leads them to look elsewhere at better offers.

What do you think?

many years ago, us fans, never new what players we were signing, selling etc, or anything about the club really, now with the old tinternet, were right upto date, which is great for us fans,, so the answer must be technology, ie, the computer :ayatollah:
