Mixed feelings about this. Yes I know Ledley has been off form for the past 2 seasons however he is a local lad and I did love the idea of him playing for us.

Oh well. Doubt we will see him in a City shirt again and it is a sad end to his City career.

Looks like he'll just drift away now then to pastures new and get no flak for not signing his contract off of the fans

tell you what, id give more effort and and run my socks off for 90mins unlike these overpaid nobs

Ledley had the chance to become a cardiff legend and be talked about when our kids had kids kids etc, but he's fooked all that up, not signing contracts because he wants more money etc from the club he supposed to "love" (liverpool) and dont give me "the club didn;t offer him one etc" because the way riddler is with cash it was in the clubs bestest intrest to make sure a contract was drawn up to get millions for him (i wouldn't pay anywhere near 1 mill) so its down ledley

now he's regreting the lot, the c**t still aint signed, will not play for the rest of the season, no-one wants him lol

If I was the club I would say 'sign the contract and we'll pay for your ops and rehab, don't sign and we won't'. Knowing football though there's probably some clause saying we have to cover the payment for it so long as he is a player contracted to the club. I'll be really pissed off if we pay for all his ops and rehab then he leaves us for nothing.

I'd imagine the club has insurance to cover the costs. It might also cover the cost of his wages while he can't play. Which would be handy for the club at the moment!
