Walter smith set to take over from dj?

Has anybody heard anything about walter smith becoming our next manger? Two of the boys who I work with have both told me this today but can't find anything on sky sports or BBC.

I have heard this one too. He is out of contract with Rangers and is currently managing them without one. So can leave when he wants. Maybe he has been lined up by the new investors

Is DJ's office on the ground floor? If it is, maybe it can be "moved upstairs". That would mean he can still be kept on at the club (I wonder if this could be in his contract?) and a new man moved in before Jones' contact is left to just expire. He may be unhappy about this situation and resign, therefore not costing the club any money as they have not sacked him and broken their end of the deal.

On the other hand, on the face of it, our league position is still healthy and we are still competitive in the league and in with a chance of the play-offs (automatic promotion is now a distant 3-horse race I think). At the moment. Maybe if we were mid-table or below, he may be in danger
