" Your first ever CITY game?? "

Mine was FA Cup 1986 v QPR (i was aged 7). David Seamon was in goal for QPR and we lost 2-0 or 2-1, i think it was 2-0 thou!!

V Spurs in a pre-season match back in either 91 or 92 can't remeber, think it was 91.

Late 70's (poss 1980). My dad took me to watch us at home against Drby and then Charlton. We won one and lost the other both by 1 -0. Bennet brothers were playing.

Mine was 1975 at home sat on the old wooden benches in the Canton stand v Peterborough on December 27th. Goals from Dwyer 2, Evans 2 and Anderson made it a 5-2 win.
In the 75/76 season Tony Evans got 21, Adrian Alston 14 and Phil Dwyer got 8 as a defender!! That year we went up in second place back to Division 2 (current Championship) and won the Welsh cup. Loved those years!

1986!! God I was born that year, getting on mate.

Anyway....my first game was block A of the bob bank, front row, nutters in the canton stand, we got battered by Cambridge by some 5 goals, lads kept singing "we only need 5 more" I then fell in love with the club. My dad became a groundsman, got me a ball boy job and I spent the wonder years of my youth watching the city for free on a weekly basis. That also included being on the middle gate of the bob bank for THE Leeds game, best seat in the house.

About the same time for me (64.65) . Not sure of the score, but it was Bristol City I think. I was on my dads shoulder for most of the game.

Same season for me Old Canton, but against the Posh and City ran out 5-2 winners. Didn't go again until the following season after our promotion and Peter Sayer knocked Spurs out of the cup.
