I see that Giles Barnes is currently training with west brom. Not sure what happened to him at Derby, seemed a real prospect one time, anybody fancy seeing him in the blue of cardiff

i know that, but he seems to be released by derdy for whatever reason...... from what i can remember of him was quite a player.....especially on a free.

He does, or rather did, look quality a few years back, but you have to ask yourself why his career has gone downhill. I heard he's an arrogant little shit who, among other things, used to go "Whoosh" every time he went past an opposition defender. By doing that, he's leaving himslef open for all sorts of bad tackles from the Championship hatchet men. Maybe that's just one of his unattractive traits. Probably believes he's a lot better than he actually is, too, and I don't want that kind of player here
