can potential investers/buyer deal directly with current shareholders without PR getting involved. if so why don't they do this and force the scumbag out.

Carl, That I have also been told, I also believe that NO MAJOR INVESTOR NOW IS INTERESTED while he is Our Chairman.

I'm a bit confused and don't quite understand.... if Ridsdale is the paid frontman for Guy and Hall, AND he is seen as a barrier to potential investers (for any number of reasons!!), then it's surely in the Egg loving major shareholders interest to get PR out of the way to ensure the desired dialogue continues unaffected by his involvement.

That's what I thought, If the main shareholders didn't want him there and if what is being said is true I don't see why they don't get rid of him!
If PMG want out they need someone to come in, if Ridsdale is standing in the way then surely they would want him gone

because the board of directors are not voting him out then this is the reason why an AGM/EGM is the only way forward. Then if the Shareholders do not like the responses to any questions they have then the correct decision can be made.

But if Ridsdale was the only barrier between the club getting taken over by the malaysians, and Guy and PMG selling their shares at a profit then they would have called an AGM and got rid of Ridsdale.
I'm guessing there's a lot more behind the scenes that is putting off potential investors than just the frontman

But if Ridsdale was the only barrier between the club getting taken over by the malaysians, and Guy and PMG selling their shares at a profit then they would have called an AGM and got rid of Ridsdale.
I'm guessing there's a lot more behind the scenes that is putting off potential investors than just the frontman

in my opinion the board of directors would have to call an AGM and there are pro-ridsdale voters on the board so an agm is unlikely but an EGM is defo on the cards.

but I agree as well that this is not a Ridsdale problem alone this is the whole lot need changing at the top.

Okay, think it's now a bit clearer in certain respects....

Board is Ridsdale, Borley, Flitcroft (One of PRs hires?), Harris (One of PRs hires?), Whiteley (One of PRs hires?) and our Malaysian friend TG. So potentially you have at Board level PR + 3 = 4 versus Steve Borley and TG = 2

Now I get that much from a Board level, but as Guy and Hall are major shareholders, surely they would be pushing for an EGM themselves (either publicly or privately).

In addition, surely they have some huge weight when it comes to the running of the club as they are owed £9m and hold a vast number of shares - You'd therefore think a quiet word with PR would get him out if that is what is needed for TG and the Malaysians to continue negotiating and get them their payday?
