Blackpool have been fined £25,000 for fielding a weakened team against Aston Villa on November 10th. Holloway said he'd resign if they did this and later changed it to "would offer his resignation to his chairman". Will he do it?? He probably will knowing his chairman won't accept it.
Personally I think this makes a mockery of the 25 man squad rule!

Sky are now trying to get Ian Holloway to comment and have reminded him off his words.

The prem teams already took the piss out of the 25man squad rule, namely Arsenal for registering 76 players, U21's which dont count towards the 25man squad, so Carlos Vela, Ramsey, Wilshire and Walcott were all registered as U21's.
If you can't rotate a 25man squad without getting fined then whats the point in having this useless rule? Holloway won't leave, he'll just fight it and probably do it again.
