More like because DJ is a cock... Now it looks like Matthews is going in the summer for free!

if we are seriously thinking long term, whether he gets us up or not DJ HAS TO GO in the summer..... If he thought long term Matthews would still be with us

If he gets us promoted he wont go, however i think that if he can't get us promoted now with the players we have then he should knock football on the head altogether

jones hasn't got a human touch, you cant treat players like mugs, i doubt he even praises the lads when they win
hes just like yep , they done there job so they should and when ther shit he bemoans. what that do for morale

look at redknap he shows admiration to his players tells them how good they are and not let anything effect them , always there for them through bad times and bad games.

DJ has brought in players who should easily get us to the premier. Think about it, JET, Ramsey, Kienen.....Drinkwater is well down the pecking order here at Cardiff and that is no good to him. Sir Alex can see this, its why he is a sir, and wants his youngsters to be getting first team experience when his stars are winning everything in sight. Its called looking to the future and hence why Danny is on his way to a team that will give him what sir Alex wants. Why Watford? Well it would have any team that sir Alex kewn his youngsters would have got in the starting lineup. Drinkwater stood no chance getting in our lineup with what we have got.

Listened to Robbie Savage on the radio on the way back to Derby after the Watford game last Saturday. He said if Cardiff dont go up this season with what we have then it will be a massive failure. Anyone want to disagree with that statement?

Alex Ferguson Never Demanded Drinkwater back, Drinkwater knew his time was up with DJ, ever since the Jack home game when he rushed him back. Drinkwater asked to leave and I dont blame him.

Sad news that Annis, as Drinkwater was someone who would chase and put a foot in.

Should have been nowhere near the pitch for the last Jacks game-really bad management.

We still need a tough tackler in there before the window closes.

I believe he was a class player for this Division and it all went tits up for him after his injury. How could you play a player in Derby game v the Jacks, when he had not played for 6 weeks, not even a Reserve game. Some fans slaughtered him then for not playing well. He is best of at Watford, Good luck to the lad :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

All week before the Jacks game I saw people saying that Danny should come in, I couldn't believe the naivety that a 20 year old, out for 6 weeks should come in and play the biggest game of his life at that time, against a midfield that has dominated us in the past.

Was so sad to be proved right (though Danny was way down on the reasons we lost that day), he's a cracking player at this level though.

BBC

Watford sign Manchester United midfielder Drinkwater

Drinkwater made 37 appearances for Huddersfield last season
Watford have signed Manchester United midfielder Danny Drinkwater on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old had been on loan at Watford's Championship rivals Cardiff City for the season, but was recalled by the Red Devils earlier this week.
The England Under-21 international made 12 appearances for the Bluebirds but suffered from illness and injury.
He has yet to play for Manchester United's first team and spent last season on loan at Huddersfield.

NOW CONFIRMED

Ian he is a Sir for his services to football nothing to do with Drinkwater. I'm not sure the Queen would have heard of Drinkwater.
