Fair play to Kinnock. He is. I've seen him a few times on away trips. I also remember after the trouble at Fulham, where he sat in front of me in the Putney Stand, and the slating we got, especially from that tw*t Jimmy Hill, he was straight on the radio sticing up for our fans.

He has also written quite a few letters to the Trust supporting them too.

One involved a misunderstanding which was very funny at the time. But a bit embarrassing to those involved. I'm not sure its fair for me to put it on a board. Safe to say, better to ask Corky the details. The upsho of it all was he really did seem keen to help.

Lets not tar everyone with the same brush, or bring politics into our judgement, and judge people on their OWN individual actions.

Dont think there is a lot a politican can do at the moment.

As for Rhodri Morgan, he's as much a City fan as David Bishop.

A lot of City fans have, due the years of being treated like sh1t developed a thick skin. if nothing is sorted in the next 6 weeks or so even that will wear off and it'll come to a head.

I used to love the Welsh cup playing the likes of Hereford Chester and Shrewsbury, and the Welsh clubs, although we were usually preoccupied with promotion and relegation fights to care too much about the competition. The year you beat us home and away, was one of them the games where Ante Rajkovic got sent off at ours for bringing down your striker when he was clean through?

And im sure we were the last winners of it beating Wrexham at the old Arms Park

It still continues now. Without us.

The seaon I was thinking of was long after Rajkovic had gone - in fact I think the year he played was probably one of the best Welsh Cup semis - over 2 legs your side, who were in the 1st division won 2-1, with about 40000 watching over the 2 games.

I was talking about the late 80's early 90's when Stant scored 2 at the Vetch and we won 2-1 and then we won 4-1 at NP with Fereday scoring a screamer.

Welsh Cup was a great little Competition, But to survive we would have to have Europe at the end of it.

Thanks for the confidence of reaching another cup final black swan of the family.
Its a pity you dont have the same confidence in your own club  but you are right Rhodri isnt intrested in us unless he can get publicity from us , another final or promotion to the promised land.

You are right about the year.

Bt we won it twice afterwards, before losing to barry the next season  and then Wrexham in 94-95 when they became the last Welsh league club to win it, which is fitting really as they have the most overall wins. 23 against our 22.

Swansea have won it 10 times, which is some achivement - 2 more times than Druids   :ayatollah:

Talking of Barry Town, its hard to believe that not so long ago they beat Porto at Jenner Park in Europe  are they still in the welsh league system or are they no more?

Yes mate.
They are in the top division of the Welsh league. (Not the LOW, but the South Wales Welsh League - yes stupid i know !). If they win that then they will be in the Welsh league proper.

That makes no sense at all sorry !
