I was never a big Thommo fan myself, I like the guy and he is a decent player, but his end product is shocking. That said, I'd love to have someone like him as a squad player, the question being would he be happy to have occupied such a role here? If only we could combine Thommo's attitude with Bothroyd's ability.

Tommo got both Cameron Jerome and Chopra big money moves out of the club by being a foil for their play !

I will go out on a limb now and be laughed at forever, but Jerome would go to the world cup ahead of Heskey for me, when he got a head of steam up he was hard to stop and as proved he can bang them in at the top level !
