Advice for Caravan Owners

Sorry its not about the Gypos down West.
This morning a mate of mine saw a friends caravan being driven away down a local street, so they rang the owner to ask "Have you sold you caravan" the answer was "no why?" - Utter shock then set in, as it was apparent it was being nicked.
A quick phone call to the police, and the police rang back in 20 minutes to say we have found the caravan.
It was stolen by a gypsy and found in the gypsy camp in Merthyr already being stripped down.
The police knew, they do this regular at Merthyr, nick caravans and strip them down.
The police then made the gypsy bring the caravan back, with a police escort.
The Gypsy told the police that he met a man at Gelligaer market who told him that you can have the caravan as I dont want it any more!!!! Lieing tw*t!!!!
As the Gypo from Merthyr was driving to the police station with a police escort, I screamed "Wanker" at him, he looked at me, as he was driving then carried on. A few of us would have loved to have filled him in.
The police have taken statements, but there may be a good chance that although caught in the act he may get away with it, because of his pre-planned story that the man at the market said he could have the caravan, and the fact that the theft told place in the day and not the night.
A lesson for all caravan owners, ring the police, then drive to your local Gypo camp.
