Eric has had an agenda against Jones for years and spends hours digging away for stats to try and find an excuse to get him out. This article seems a bit desperate to me. Well researched, as always, but misses the point that each individual circumstance is different.
I'd certainly give Jones until the end of the season.
Given the situation of the clubs finances he's doing a good job. I know many city fans think differently, which is odd, as 90% of fans elsewhere think he's performing miracles keeping the club challenging for promotion whilst selling its best players every summer.
His personality may get up a few noses, but for me i couldnt give a sh1t about that, its results that count and on average he's doing better than most would. If we changed we might be lucky, maybe out of 10 choices we could make we might get one Coyle or 1 Martinez, on the other hand there is probably an 8 out of 10 chance we'll get someone who is worse than Jones. Just look how well Clough, Strachan, Keane, Rogers, etc.. have done.
Right now we've got bigger worries and its best to leave him to try to get the best out of whatever we are left with.
I KNOW there will be many who oppose this, and you are welcome to your opinons. However, I wont change my stance on this unless we have a major drop in form now.
