Peter will be seeking an apology from the media.

Peter Ridsdale has stated he never made any siuch comment with regard to being hounded out by City fans for being English , his email to me states the following:

"I have NEVER said anything about being English. In fact my grandparents were Welsh. I said that there is an agenda by some sections of the press to force me out. I made it absolutely clear that this was NOTHING to do with being English. We will be looking for an apology from the Express. Peter." Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device
