I dont think that the club would appreciate my crutches churning up the pitch.
besides well all get banned and the club would get fined which we cant afford .

thing is no-one would follow, sad times
Last ever game at ninian park and no-one went on the pitch, years ago we would have stormed it! i spoke to a steward who said theywere expecting a pitch invasion and no action would be taken if anyone did
the same the season before that, i think i was the only one who jumped the grange end and got onto the pitch, no-one followed , pulled a mooney and walked back towards the grange end because no-one followed, but yet all of them were like "yet on the pitch" "lets do it"
sad times

A Pitch invasion
we live in a somewhat more civilised world now since you lot rampaged your way around the country, molesting subterranean towns in the 80's and 90's.
There's far more sensible ways to get rid of Mr.Grimsdale.
Im guessing tonight there will be a more hardcore support, what with it being the FA Cup and against your 'pretend' biggest rivals. If there's 9000 there then they can prove more vociferous than 20000 prawnies on a CCC saturday game.
A few thousand chanting 'We want Peter out' will suffice to start off with

If he doesn't buy any players then I will wait for him outside CCS and get my season ticket money back from him personally

If a thousand people stormed the pitch they are not gonna ban all of them
Tue Jan 19, 2010 11:12 am
Im up for it, i ever been so pissed off with being feed bullshit in all my life.
Ridsdale f**k off back to where you come from, i forgot they hate your guts in Leeds too.
All that hype about raising 3m for transfers was to pay the HRMC why didn't he tell us that in the first place.

A pitch invasion would make us look like the bad guys. Unfortunately, the media wouldn't recognise the surrounding situation regarding the 'missing money' and would just immediately go 'pitch invasion = violent hooliganism'!

I think the same, also it would give other clubs the excuse to insist that visiting Cardiff fans are "bubbled" in & out of there grounds.

Do it. They'll only ban you if a handful of people do it. If there are too many they will just let you get on with it. It will bring attention to the subject and maybe we can start getting some honest answers. Swansea fans stormed Tony Petty out of their club after just 3 months before he could ruin them beyond repair, we need to do the same. This is our club, lets take it back.
Incidentally I was just searching Tony Petty to see how long he was in control of the Swans for, and came up with this article. Sound familiar?!
TONY PETTY has launched an astonishing tirade against Swansea City fans, Cardiff City followers and the Football League.
His blast could be a parting shot, for there is mounting specualtion Petty is close to doing a £750,000 deal to sell up to the Hull-based Melvyn Griffin consortium.
The controversial Swans chairman incredibly dubbed the club's fans as racist. He claimed: "The people of Swansea have been racist towards me.
"They couldn't accept a Londoner coming in and changing things.
"That applies to the people of Wales generally. You only had to listen to those pathetic `Argentina' chants Cardiff fans were directing at Leeds fans last weekend.
"These people should remember what the Argentinians did to 75 Welsh Guardsmen during the Falklands War," slammed Petty.

There is the key difference though that Ridsdale categorically denied there was any racism involved in the fans hating him.

Just a thought, West Ham Utd were recently fined £115.000 due to the pitch invasion during there game v Millwall last year. Although i appreciate the build up to that particular game, could our club afford a fine of even half that ammount?
The media is going to be firmly focused on us tonight.

a pitch invasion would just play into p.r's hands, it would make us look like the bad guys,

We had a "campaign of disobedience" at the footy in 1998 when the powers that be tried to kill off our club. We got a lot of support through it and terrific media coverage for a club of our size.
It;s worth thinking about, as long as you do it right and keep it tight

I think that's the risk. There are too many rogue individuals who would use it as an excuse to piss about and give our club and fans a bad name. Demonstrations before the game or at full time would work better, especially with the media there.
