Quite right, but I wonder, if we get to the 5th round and draw Man utd, how many 'more important' things will need doing then.

Yup. If City were playing Barcelona in the Champions League tonight, I still wouldn't have been at the game.

Bit of a silent demonstration dont you think?
And why would city fans watch man utd and not cardiff city when both are on t.v.??????????
Wed Jan 20, 2010 12:24 am
I had no chance of getting to the game. Traffic near Gabalfa Flyover was manic so wouldn't have got to the game before bradley orr's OG so pointless me giving my 20 quid up to watch nothing glad i didn't get a ticket. so turned around and watched S4C a good welsh lesson too

I really wish people would stop having a go all the time.
Yes, we have a large element of fickle fans who don't follow the club through the ups and downs. However, every club has this. Actually, if it wasn't for this section of support, our attendances would be awful (same is true for all clubs).
Also, there are some of us who have real reasons for not attending. I have a university exam tomorrow, and passing my degree is quite important.

Sorry I was not there I was busy putting food on the table for my children...(working)

More a case of the fans showing their contempt for the way the club is being run by voting with their feet. Where was that Steele guy? - more lies?
By the way the Riddlers face was a picture when he came out to his seat and saw how low the attendance was.

Thats a bit harsh! I didnt go because I worked last night and the only way I could get it off was to have it unpaid or go on the sick, also people have just forked out on season tickets.
These kind of threads really piss me off!
Wed Jan 20, 2010 8:14 am
yes watched it on the box & Pistols face at around 7.40 when he stood by his seat & looked around the ground - his face was superb
Ridders if you read this board - ITS YOUR FUCKIN FAULT

Did have an interesting time - cup attendances worse (numerically and quality wise ).
Family sat behind me for first time - all game were talking so much bollocks that they'd even be ridiculed on CCMB!
Apparently, we're :-
a) Buying Koumas, Routledge, Ashley Young and Tom Huddlestone.
b) We're going to sell Ledley in summer for 8m to Spurs.
c) West Ham is a smokescreen, Sullivan is the real new investor for us.
d) Martin Jol will be replacing DJ.
And on and on it went, with not a hint of humour.
The best bit? When not talking bollocks, they spent all their time talking about Man f'n Utd, score updates, laughing that Tevez scored, debating if Evra should be sold....
Wed Jan 20, 2010 10:26 am
Excuses, excuses, excuses, same old.
Wed Jan 20, 2010 10:41 am
I'm not going to be made to feel guilty by self righteous individuals on here. I know their taunts are aimed at those who did just decide to stay away but for me I just couldn't afford it. Plain and simple. I'm getting paid on Thursday so can make the Leicester game and I'll support Cardiff whenever I can. I won't be made to feel bad about my financial situation already than I am sorry.
Like I said, I am a platambo, have been for years, will go to all home league games and the cup games when I can plus I'll venture to away games. Don't need to justify my support and love for this club to anyone.

I'v got a season ticket, only missed the first home league game this season becuase I was still on holidays, went to the carling cup games and have gone to about 3/4 of the away games this season!!! I tried twice to watch the away game against the wurzels once getting as far as Chepstow before it was called off and then getting snowed in Caerphilly with the bus not being able to get to us for the re-arranged game so I couldn't be arsed last night. All I can do is apologise for being a fickle fan who stayed at home with my Man Utd shirt on with Rooney on the back cheering the Red Devils until my voice went hoarse!!!!
